Tim is a Senior Manager with Deloitte Consulting’s Federal Services practice. Tim has over 15 years of professional experience in commercial and government consulting and working in the legislative and executive branches of the Federal Government. Tim focuses on strategically planning and implementing information technology (IT) strategies, and government-wide/national programs to improve performance of Federal government operations and fulfill mission priorities. Tim serves as the host of Deloitte’s Federal CIO Roundtable program and teaches an internal training class on the Federal budget and capital planning and investment control (CPIC) processes.
Prior to joining Deloitte Consulting in January 2009, Tim served as OMB’s Deputy Administrator for E-Government and IT. In this role, Tim was the senior executive responsible for managing OMB’s statutory office, charged with oversight of formulation and execution of the ~$80B Federal IT portfolio, definition of management and IT policies and priorities, and driving Executive Branch progress among Federal CXOs and programs.
Before joining OMB in 2003, Tim served in consulting positions with KPMG Consulting, BearingPoint, and The EOP Group. In addition to his consulting experience, Tim worked for the U.S. House of Representatives and The Heritage Foundation.
Tim holds an MBA with a concentration in the management of global information technology from the Kogod School of Business at The American University and is an alumnus from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, Leadership for a Networked World Program with executive education certificates in shared services and IT governance.
Tim and his wife, Michele, reside in Washington, DC with their daughter, Reagan, and son, Liam.
