Robert E. (Rob) Mullins is Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy for ATK, a Fortune 500 aerospace, defense, and commercial products company.

Rob joined ATK in September 2010. As the company‘s primary strategist, he provides advice and counsel to the CEO, the Board of Directors, and the four business groups on strategic options designed to evolve ATK’s portfolio of businesses. He also develops and executes the company‘s merger and acquisition strategy, and leads the annual strategic planning process.

From 2002 to 2010, Rob was employed by Northrop Grumman Corporation, serving in a number of executive positions. Most recently, Rob was Vice President of Operations, Strategy and Development for Northrop’s ISR Systems Division, where he was responsible for strategy and new business growth for a $2B business portfolio. Previously, he was the Head of Strategy for the Electronic Systems sector, following his tenure as Corporate Director, Strategy & Technology. Prior to joining Northrop Grumman, Rob was a member of the permanent research staff at The RAND Corporation.

Rob is an honors graduate of Franklin & Marshall College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government. He also holds a PhD in War Studies from King’s College, University of London, as well as a Master of Public & International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh. Finally, Rob completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School, as well as other executive leadership programs at Harvard and the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.

ATK has operations in 22 states, Puerto Rico, and internationally, and revenues of approximately $4.8 billion.
