Margaret Rooney-McMillen leads three distinct teams within the AT&T federal government marketing organization, comprising marketing, channel management of technology partners, and programs management of GSA contract vehicles such as Networx and Alliant.
She guides the marketing and channel management teams in developing key strategies, programs, communications and events that have supported major customer wins and resulted in ongoing sales growth for AT&T’s federal government segment.
Ms. Rooney-McMillen’s GSA programs management team of 40+ experts are responsible for taking AT&T’s full complement of GSA contracts from proposal to maintenance. Her role is to ensure end-to-end programs life cycle support by directing key team functions that include compliance with strict government contract requirements, contract modifications, IT systems development, ordering and billing support, product development and assurance, and proposal support.
Ms. Rooney-McMillen has amassed more than 16 years’ experience in creating, negotiating, transitioning and managing complex programs in the telecommunications industry. Before joining AT&T, she served as AT&T Sales Center Vice President in the Wholesale segment. In this role, Ms. Rooney-McMillen’s focus was on fostering business relationships with systems integrators.
She graduated from Emory and Henry College with a bachelor’s degree in Business and Management.
