Overview

The 5th Annual Defense Strategic Planning Forum was hosted by TechAmerica Foundation at The University Club on February 25, 2010. The highly popular panel of defense industry strategists offered their views on the latest DoD budget request and the major challenges facing the industry in the future.

Topics

  • Now that the Obama Administration has been in place for over a year, what does the defense industry see as the Administration’s defense priorities going forward?
  • Does the soon to be released Quadrennial Defense Review capture those priorities and will it result in structural changes in defense policy or just “business as usual”?
  • Is the state of the economy going to impact future defense spending more than the threat?
  • What is the role of strategic planning going forward?
  • In addition, there will be ample opportunity to ask questions of the panelists.
