Brian P. Flood
Treasurer
Brian P. Flood is the Treasurer of TechAmerica Foundation, having joined the organization in 2009. He brings many years of leadership experience in the areas of finance, accounting, operations and marketing.
Prior to joining TechAmerica Foundation, Flood provided consulting services to non-profit and services businesses in the areas of finance and accounting with Hudson Financial Resources. He was previously the President & CFO of Chesapeake Logistics, a company he started as a consulting firm in 1998 and developed into a successful regional provider of logistics services for government agencies and retailers, cited by Inbound Logistics as one of the top 12 furniture logistics providers in the United States. Flood’s methodology for measuring the financial impact of supply chain improvements was published in the Annual Conference Proceedings issued by the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.
Prior to Chesapeake, Flood was the CFO of TNT Logistics, the U.S. division of a $6 billion global logistics provider, and part of a management team that generated $50 million in revenue in just three years from startup.
A CPA, Brian held previous financial management roles with Ryder System and Beatrice Companies after starting his career in public accounting with Ernst & Young. Flood has a BBA in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA in Finance & Marketing from the University of Chicago.
Brian has served many years as a community youth sports coach, and received the Maryland Volunteer of the Year from Junior Achievement for establishing the Exchange City Program at local elementary schools. He lives in Arnold, Maryland with his wife Gina and their two children.
