Driving Instructions to Waterford Conference Center

From DC
Take I-395 South towards Richmond. Take the VA-644 W (Exit 1B) exit towards Springfield/Franconia. The exit is 2-lane. Stay in right hand lane. Take Exit 169B Old Keene Mill Rd/Springfield. Stay in right hand lane and immediately bear right on Brandon Avenue off exit. Follow street to Commerce. Turn right at light onto Commerce Street. Follow over bridge over highway. After intersection at Bowie, take the next right into Waterford. Parking is available on ground level in front of low brick building and parking garage along side building. The Waterford entrance is directly across the street from the Courtyard Marriott.

From Tyson’s Corner, I-495
Take exit 57A 95 South Richmond/Franconia. Stay in right-hand lane, Take Exit 169B West Old Keene Mill Road/Springfield Exit. Continue to follow signs to 169B exit. Bear right to Brandon Avenue. Continue on Brandon Avenue to Commerce Street. Turn right at light onto Commerce Street. Follow over bridge over highway. After intersection at Bowie,take the next right into Waterford. Parking is available on ground level in front of low brick building and parking garage along side building. The Waterford entrance is directly across the street from the Courtyard Marriott.

From Richmond
Take I-95 North Exit 169A towards Franconia. At light turn left onto Loisdale Road. Go approximately one mile. Follow signs for Commerce Street. ( Loisdale Road will turn into Commerce Street after the Franconia Road overpass.) Since the road is divided, you will go past the Waterford complex on your left and therefore turn left at the light for Bowie and an immediate left into the Waterford parking lot.

From Fairfax County Parkway – Franconia/Springfield Parkway
Take the Backlick Road exit. Turn left onto Backlick Road from ramp and bear left at the split to continue onto Backlick Road. Pass Springfield Boulevard East light. Get in right-hand lane and turn right onto Commerce Street. Cross Brandon Avenue . Continue over bridge over highway. After intersection at Bowie, take the next right into Waterford. Parking is available on ground level in front of low brick building and parking garage along side building. The Waterford entrance is directly across the street from the Courtyard Marriott.

From 495 I-95 via Wilson Bridge
Exit towards 170B/169 A/B, 395/644 Washington Springfield. Take 169 A-B 644 towards Springfield. Take Exit 169B West Old Keene Mill Road/Springfield Exit. Continue to follow signs to 169B exit. Stay in right hand lane and immediately bear right on Brandon Avenue off exit. Follow street to building and parking garage along side building. The Waterford across the street from the Courtyard Marriott.

Via Metro
Franconia/Springfield Metro Stop (yellow or blue line). The center is a 20 minute walk or you may take a taxi from the North (approximately 3 blocks), left on Franconia (one block), Waterford is on the corner of Franconia and Commerce.
